Guy Garvey admitted: "Glastonbury was probably the best gig of our lives, actually. That iconic stage. that field. All those people doing exactly what I want them to. It's bizarre. I think I said at one point, I'm sick of the power!

As for their set at Benicassim Festival after 15th July night, bandmate Pete Tuner said: "We had a great gig here in 2008. We're due a bad gig though!"

A worried Garvey added: "Our drummer has a really bad habit of watching YouTube videos of people falling off stage just before they're about to go on. Is it bad karma? Yes, exactly!"
